Law Student Internships

Become a KLF Law Clerk

At Keystone Law Firm, we are passionate about helping families protect their hard-earned wealth. 


Through a relentless pursuit of asset protection, tax avoidance, litigation strategies, and a committed team, we have protected over $1B dollars for our clients and their families.


We are seeking law clerks for Spring and Summer 2022. Each session will run for approximately 12 weeks.  This paid program provides eligible students with opportunities to work on meaningful projects that contribute to the our clients' success while developing their personal and business acumen. Law clerks gain insights into the business of estate planning, asset protection, dynasty trusts, tax avoidance, creditor and bankruptcy protection, and all aspects of litigation surrounding inheritances.


Clerk placements are based on current business needs, and the student's skills, interests, and relevant experience. All positions are located at the KLF offices in Chandler, AZ.  Law clerks will be required to work approximately twenty (20) hours per week.


Position Summary

Are you currently earning your J.D.? Do you want to get some real world, private law firm experience so that you can better understand how families across all demographics can protect their assets? 


Law clerks will have the opportunity to support day-to-day operations across our legal team while also completing major projects. Example projects include:

  • Summarizing evidence for litigation surrounding will and trust contests;
  • Researching grounds for personal and subject matter jurisdiction of multi-state trust disputes;
  • Interacting with banks, financial advisors, and other asset holders to learn how trusts and estates hold assets; and
  • Providing any other support to the legal team within a private law firm.


Recommended Areas of Study

  • Juris Doctorate candidate


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Microsoft & Google Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent time management and organization skills


Ideal Educational Background

To qualify for the Legal Intern Program, students must:

Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

AND

Be enrolled in an accredited J.D. program and be between in their second or third year of law school.
